Privacy Policy
Digitrise is a digital marketing agency based in Delhi. Running campaigns for our clients means handling data — theirs, and sometimes yours. This page lays out exactly what we hold, why we hold it, and what you can ask us to do about it. No buried clauses, no vague language.
01Where This Applies
Everything below covers digitrise.in and any conversation that starts there — a contact form, a quote request, an emailed brief. It also covers the working relationship if you go on to hire us.
Two quick definitions so the rest reads cleanly: "we" means Digitrise, and "you" means whoever is reading, whether that's a curious visitor or a client three campaigns deep. Sending us your details through this site means you're comfortable with what follows. If you're not, don't send them — email us your questions instead and we'll answer before you commit to anything.
02What Reaches Us, And How
Three separate streams, worth keeping distinct because they behave differently:
- Things you hand over deliberately. A name in a form field, a phone number, the company you work for, a paragraph describing what you're trying to fix. Nothing here arrives without you typing it.
- Things your browser reports automatically. Approximate location from an IP address, which device you're on, which pages held your attention and for how long, and which site sent you here. This is aggregate pattern data — useful for improving the site, useless for identifying you personally.
- Things that surface once we're working together. Ad account access, analytics logins, brand files, customer lists you ask us to segment. We take only what a specific deliverable requires, and we say so before we ask.
One request: our forms aren't built for sensitive material. Please keep health records, financial account numbers, and government identification out of them.
03Why We Hold Any Of It
Each piece of data we keep maps to something concrete:
- Answering the question you actually asked, rather than routing you to a generic reply
- Running and reporting on campaigns for clients who've engaged us
- Spotting which parts of this site confuse people, so we can fix them
- Sending occasional updates — only to people who asked for them, and only until they ask us to stop
- Satisfying tax, accounting, and contractual record-keeping we're legally required to maintain
Your data is not a revenue stream for us. We have never sold personal information and have no intention of building a business model that depends on it.
04Cookies, Without The Jargon
Cookies are small files a website leaves in your browser so it can remember things between page loads. Ours fall into three buckets:
- Necessary ones that keep basic functions working — without these the site breaks
- Measurement ones that tell us how many people read a page, not which specific person read it
- Memory ones that hold onto small choices, like a notice you've already dismissed
Every browser lets you block or clear these from its settings. Do that and some conveniences stop working, but nothing essential — you can still read every page and still reach us.
05Who Else Ever Sees It
A short list, and it stays short:
- Tools we run the business on — our host, our email provider, our analytics platform. They process data on our instruction and for no other purpose.
- Ad and social platforms, where a campaign literally cannot run without the data being there. If you've hired us to advertise on a platform, that platform necessarily receives campaign data.
- Authorities, where a valid legal order leaves us no discretion.
- A future owner, if the agency is ever sold or merged — and the commitments on this page would transfer with it, unchanged.
Outside those four situations, your information doesn't leave us.
06How Long It Stays
Data has a shelf life here. Client records last as long as the engagement plus whatever period our accountants and the tax authorities require afterward. Enquiries that never turned into projects get reviewed periodically and deleted once it's clear there's no reason to keep them — we'd rather not sit on a database of people who emailed us once in 2023.
07What You Can Ask Us To Do
Depending on where you live, some or all of these are legal rights. We'd honour them regardless:
- Ask us to show you what we hold about you
- Ask us to correct anything wrong or outdated
- Ask us to delete it, except where we're legally obliged to keep a record
- Tell us to stop sending marketing, permanently, with no follow-up asking why
- Object to a specific use you're not comfortable with
Email the address at the bottom of this page. A real person reads it, and we'll come back to you as quickly as we reasonably can.
08Keeping It Safe
Access to client data inside our team is limited to the people working on that account — not shared broadly "just in case." We use established, reputable platforms for storage and communication rather than improvising with whatever's cheapest.
We won't pretend that's a guarantee. Any data sent across the internet carries some risk, and anyone claiming otherwise is overselling. What we will commit to is telling you promptly, and in line with applicable law, if a breach ever affects your information.
09Age And Eligibility
We sell to businesses. Our services aren't designed for, marketed to, or useful to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted something to us, tell us and it will be removed.
10When This Page Changes
Tools change, laws change, and this page will change with them. Any revision gets a new date at the top rather than a silent edit. Carrying on using the site after an update means the updated version applies to you, so it's worth a glance if you're a returning client.
